It's Marketing Monday again!

I have been a real, honest to goodness author for a whole six weeks! I love seeing my book in print, knowing that God planted the seed for it in my heart, and all I did was nurture that seed.

I also love it when people tell me they have read it and enjoyed it. I was especially happy yesterday, when a gentleman at church came up to me and told me he read it and really liked it. It's not just chick lit!

But there is one thing about being an author that  I don't like...marketing my book. I am not a sales person and it just seems wrong to say to people, "buy my book, I think you'll like it" (even though I do think they'll like it!)  I'd much rather be writing! But since marketing is a necessity, I have to do it. But I've decided I'm not going to do it every day. I'll do it on Mondays, the rest of the week I'll do what I love, I'll write!

This Monday is going to be easy. Below is the link to an interview I did. I hope it will help you understand why I felt a need to write A Portrait of Dawn.

I would also like to encourage you to go to Amazon and review my book if you have read it. An Amazon review is helpful to authors, especially new inspirational fiction authors!

I want to thanks all of you who bought my book this past weekend at the signings.Your support is an encouragement to my heart.  I hope you enjoy A Portrait of Dawn and will pass it on to others.

Brenda
