prayer request

If you are reading my blog and would like to add my dad to your prayer list I would appreciate it. He is having surgery on his lower back on Friday. He is healthy but at 81 the risk is a little bit higher than for the rest of us. Doctor said if he doesn't do it, he will be in a wheelchair in two years. For a man who still mowes his own 2 acres of yard, shovels his own snow, plants a huge garden and takes care of a kennel full of dogs that did not sound applealing.
