Beautiful babies in a polar bear cave.
The weather was perfect, and the kids and Gramma were very excited. To fully appreciate what an amazing day it was, you need to know that the seven year old boy is passionate about animals, and knows every important fact there is to know about most of the animals. At one point during the day I saw him talking to an older lady who was listening to him with great interest. When I interrupted them, she was amazed at his knowledge. When he goes to the zoo, he take his binoculars to get a close up view of his favorites. He was especially fascinated with the ringtail lemurs today and the snow leopards, who were quite active today.He of course wants to be a zoo keeper some day. 
The four year old girl was just excited that Gramma was along and told me more than once that she loved me. She held my hands most of the day, and was more than happy to pose with Gramma's favorite insect, the bee.
Yes, it was a perfect day. And the little one? She didn't have a clue where she was but was happy to be there. She loves being outside, as long as her momma is there with her...she is a momma's baby like her momma was.
