Stay Close to the Teacher
I went to grandparent's day with my granddaughter last week. I learned something.
Her teacher never had to raise his voice to get the attention of that class full of 4th graders. When they would get noisy, he would softly say "If you hear my voice, clap once." Those children who were close by, and heard him, would clap. Then he said, "If you hear my voice, clap twice." By then, he had the attention of all the children, because of the clapping of the first few.
It reminded me that I want to be one of God's children who stays close to Him, so I can hear his voice above the noise of the world around me.
Then I can be an instrument He can use to bring others to Him.
